That five point covenant model seems to be basic to human communication. The US and German Military developed the 5 point operation order prior to WWII and it follows the covenant points that Kline and Sutton discovered, but it preceded the discovery by half a century!
1. Situation - how we got here, terrain, friendly units, enemy units, superior unit's mission.
2. Mission - who, what, when, where and why.
3. Execution - how to do it. Do this, don't do that.
4. Support - how you will be supplied with food, medical aide, and ammunition.
5. Command and Signal - How to authenticate future communications from HQ (signal) Who is in charge if the leader is incapacitated or killed (next generation of leadership)
